sleeping.

Our littlest biggest hit a major milestone last night.

Liza slept unswaddled.

Big.
Deal.

She is a 'blanket in the face' sleeper and I have a feeling this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with her favorite blanket.

Love her.

So cute! I love all of that hair. Beautiful! Madelyn is a blanket in the face sleeper too.

My 4.5 month old is a "blanket in the face" sleeper, too. It freaks me out, but it should be relatively harmless, right? He should be able to breathe fine?

It freaks me out too and is the reason why I've kept her in the swaddle longer than she would prefer.

Addison is a "blanket in the face" baby also. As in falls asleep yelling into a blanket or does not fall asleep at all sleeper :) I just pull it down as soon as shes out. Congrats on the unswaddled sleep!

Oh, that is just too, too sweet! Isaiah is a face in the blanket sleeper too which kind of freaks me out. I wake up several times a night and pull the blanket over to his cheek or down to his hip.

My baby would never let me swaddle him. At night he sleeps in a sleep sack. But for naps, he uses a blanket. I check on him compulsively.

oh i love sleeping baby pics :) she's beautiful.

I was amazed the first night Jack slept without being swaddled at about 4 months old. He LOVED being wrapped up tight. Ciaran, however, hated it from day on!

I have a blanket in the face sleeper too. I think some babies just like that feeling of being all snuggled up. Beautiful pictures.

That's a huge milestone.. We're still swaddled at the Callaway Compound.. She still sleeps in a bassinet next to our bed. Makes me nervous putting her in her own bed through the night..
