Can she be any cuter?

Seriously.

Can she be any cuter?

She is super cute proudly sporting her maroon and white....

and pigtails!!!!

Does it get any cuter?

Well...her budding love of all things books is pretty cute too.

Feigning sleep in a little bitty chair is pretty cute, too.

Although, it might be possible to be *even* cuter if she actually chose to really and truly sleep at night or during her sad excuse of a nap during the day.

The jury is in:

She can not be any cuter.

I do believe we have reached the outer boundaries of cuteness.

Hello.

Hello.

My name is

This is the 3rd football season I've worn this jersey.

My mama is hoping it still fits next year too.

I'm Henry.

I'm three.

And, it's a good thing I'm this cute or my mama might not have survived this rainy day with me.

Happy Birthday, MSU!

Last year, I was so confused why MSU hosted a huge birthday bash to celebrate the university's 132nd birthday.  This year, I simply chose to get excited about an event with free hamburgers, cake, MSU ice cream (although we didn't partake), live music, beautiful blue skies and great friends to share the day.

Why yes, that is the world's 2nd largest Jumbotron you see.
I'm impressed.  Are you?

These were seriously the only pictures I took that day.
Busy hands, busy mouth and busy children do not equate to quality photos.

Mama friends....with some daddies in tow.

Liza is at her best when we are around lots of people to entertain her.

She was a total doll the entire day...
playing with the straps of my new Boba,
and hanging out with her bestie, Charlotte.

Again, not a good picture at all of the two babies but trust me, they are super cute together.

To be Taylor's son is to firmly believe a sunny day means a shirtless day.
To be Henry is to spill a drink on your pants and have a total meltdown because your pants are wet.
To be Laura is to consider yourself lucky that
a) the child had on underwear
b) you convinced the child to keep the underwear on.
To be Tripp is to be thrilled that your buddy thought to take his shirt off!

Happy Birthday, MSU!
I am looking forward to next years 134th birthday bash!

MSU vs. Alcorn State

We attended our first football game as a family on Saturday.
Typically, we tailgate and visit with friends but we lucked into 2 tickets so we decided to give the game a try with the kids in tow.

Who knew I would actually enjoy a football game so much?
It surprised me.

Taylor loves the Ergo and
Henry loves his cup of Fritos.

We all love our dawgs!

Still loving the Ergo and that cup of Fritos.

I think Liza thoroughly enjoyed her first football game!
She definitley liked that little maroon bow in her hair.
------------------------------------
I honestly thought we wouldn't last long at the game. I assumed our seats would be in the sun and it would be too sunny/loud/hot for Henry to enjoy himself.

I was wrong.

He had the time of his life!

A winning game.

MSU vs. Auburn 2010

A win for the Bulldogs? No.

A win for the Dearmans? Yes!

I love love love our new tailgate spot for the season.
Green space for the kids to play.
Nothing better.

The Famous Maroon and White band lines up right in front of our tents.
Henry quickly learned to ring his cowbell with pride whenever the band began playing!

Food.
Lots and lots of food.

My squishy faced baby girl.
Love her.

Thanks for Brian, we even have satellite tv for our viewing pleasure!

Looks like the only thing we were missing was.........
a big win over Auburn!

We love our Dawgs!

Our first tailgate of the season was a hit.
State fans are excited about the big win over Memphis
but I am in love with football season sheerly for the tailgating.

What can I say?

I'm a fan of.....

dressing in maroon and white,
walking to campus,
visiting with friends,
drinking beer and eating yummy food.

The football game is merely a reason to convene.

While everyone else was at the game,
I watched Phelps and Henry play nonstop.
Good thing Miss Priss doesn't like big crowds and loud noises.

Phelps has officially usurped Lawson Joy's place in Henry's life.
And, I do believe her mother has taught her well how to pose for pictures!

"Henry, turn around for a picture."

Tailgating was going splendidly, until......
Henry decided the frog chair was his chair.

It obviously didn't matter to him that the frog chair did not belong to him.
To quote Henry...."muh".

The chair "belonging" to Henry was okay
until Anneliese returned from the game and Henry lost Phelps' favor.
The chair now belonged to her.

Yeah.
He was pretty pissed to not be sitting in the frog chair.
Can you tell?

At this time, I realized it was 10pm and time for the Dearmans to load up the stroller with their excessive amount of stuff and head back home.

Can't wait until Thursday night for the next home game!
GO STATE!

I made the team.

Baseball practice was alot of fun. We practiced hitting homeruns, sliding into home base, and catching pop flies. It was fun hanging out with all the other baseball players. Coach told me that I will be a starter next season, so I need to make sure I drink alot of mama's milk to get my muscles and bones ready for all that hard work. Yeah, I did miss my mama during practice but she was watching from the stands and she always waved at me when I looked her way. That made me a feel a little better about not having her right next to me.
Gotta go!
Daddy wants to play catch in the back yard.
