pre-dinner tradition

Liza is now big enough to join Henry in the 'eat raw veggies while Mama cooks supper' tradition.  Last night as I chopped fresh veggies to throw into a jar of yummy spaghetti sauce, Liza munched on white mushrooms and Henry ate more than half of a very orange and yellowish green bell pepper.

I am proud to announce this close interaction on the floor did not end with tears!
A very big deal in this house...

LOVE the naked booty pic of Henry!!! That so reminds me of my house (the booty, not the veggies)... everyday. Let me know when you start requiring underwear and I will consider it! I figured it's ok for a few more years :) I hope Stella will eat raw veggies. Lennox still won't... much to my dismay.

I love that picture too....but a little too much was showing for comfort.

Naked booties are the norm here. It's the only way he will use the restroom without assistance :)

super cute pictures! What a great tradition, and a good way to get more fresh veggies into the day. I give Sadie frozen blueberries to eat while I cook dinner. It makes a ginormous mess, but cest la vie.

You're so smart! I never thought to give Audrey raw mushrooms, this will be on my to do list this week :)

Tara, Henry eats most of his veggies while I cook supper. It's his thing.

<3, we love our vegetables!

nope - not a pickle person - but I saw a baby about Liza's age eating one and it was hilarious.
