Chocolate Milk My Way

As with all dairy-free recipes, I wish I could use the good stuff.
I am not vegan and I am not anti organic milk and butter.

Maybe one of these days we will be off the almond milk but for now it makes an excellent substitute.

Chocolate Milk My Way

1 cup almond milk
0.5 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
honey to taste*

1. Mix all ingredients in a jar with a tight lid.
2. Shake until combined.

*We like honey.  Enough said.

Have you ever considered goats milk? It works great for eczema! 2 of my 3 drink it instead of cow's milk since one is allergic and one has asthma. It has worked miracles for both of them! It is creamier than cow's milk but it is delicious! There is a couple in Starkville that we buy ours from. The wife is a vet and works at MSU. They're a wonderful family! You should give it a try! Walmart also sells it but we try to help local farmers and this family is a lot cheaper than buying it from Walmart.

You know, I don't really like the flavor of goat's milk the few times I've tried it but my kids have never had it.  I should give it another try.  I wish we could get raw milk locally.  So many people have told me that they don't have any issues with raw milk but are sensitive to conventional dairy products.
