An Everyday Miracle

Actual footage of a baby growing in a woman's womb.
The division of cells to create a new life.
10 tiny fingers at 10 weeks.
Blank little eyes
and
see through limbs.

Positively enraptured by this view of
 pregnancy and impending childbirth,
all I could think was
Women's bodies are perfectly designed.

Seriously,
that thought echoed in my mind.

Women's bodies are perfectly designed.

As I opened a new window for Blogger,
so I could write
Women's bodies are perfectly designed.
for a future blog post,
the narrator said something like this:

"You might think women's bodies are perfectly designed but they are not....."
He went on to say the true miracle of creating a new life
is that most babies are perfect
and therefore
overcame the possibility of disaster with every
division of cells.

Sorry, dude.
Love your show
but
I do not agree with that statement at all.

Women's bodies are perfectly designed.

Should I say it again?

Women's bodies are perfectly designed.

I believe the pregnant woman featured
proved my point precisely
when she delivered
her new baby daughter
at home!

Women's bodies are perfectly designed.
